OLYMPIA 2007 IN LAS VEGAS

It was Wednesday the 26th September and I was still in a dream world. I could not believe I was off to see my very first Olympia in the place that never sleeps....Las Vegas. It was a long trip but worth the while. I had two days of shopping (and I mean shopping, had to buy suitcases!) before the big days ahead. I was already exhausted, as my shopacholic partner, Sarah and I walked everywhere. We thought it was the best way to see Vegas and we were running on adrenalin...
The Olympia was amazing and the competitors looked stunning and their bodies flawless. I was so excited and overwhelmed. As we bustled though the aisles, I started to notice familiar faces such as Adela Garcia, Tanji Johnson, Jenny Lynn, a glimpse of THE HULK, managed to get an autograph from Batista (the wrestler) for my son Tyler who loves him and many other faces were to be seen. Over the two days we were there it was non stop. Cameras flashing, t-shirt and supplement give aways. Girls in hot pants giving out supplement tasting...
I bumped into a few familiar faces from home, such as Garry Phillips from Weider Publishing and our very own figure competitor Arina Manta. It's funny to see someone you know from the other side of the world. All in all it was a great show and I look forward to my next big adventure!

BH SPORTS GIRLS PHOTO SHOOT

I woke up early Saturday morning excited; I had so much to do in such little time. The first thing on my list was to get my hair done, my tan sorted, the clothing organised and the most exciting part of the day, picking up Debbie from the airport.
We woke bright and early to head over to Mona Vale for the photo shoot, it was a 9am start hair and make up. A special thanks to Suzy Blanch for being our last minute hairdresser and Rayma Fisher for being the makeup artist. Not only do these girls have amazing bodies but they are all talented in many ways!!!
The shoot went so well the girls looked amazing. We had Debbie Czempinski and Arina Manta both in top condition as Deb is only 6 weeks out from competing in the Arnold Classic, while Arina has modelling work lined up in the States. Each one of the girls looked like a professional in front of the camera as it was clicking away. My favourite outfit and shoot was the girls in their little black and white out fits with their names on the front.
I would like to thank all the girls who came along for this amazing experience and I can't wait till we shoot the Calendar towards the end of the year. A special thank you to Greg Bathurst (BH sports photographer) from Creative Image, he has been working with me for years and always does an amazing job.

ARNOLD CLASSIC

My bags were packed and ready for the experience of a life time. I traveled to the other side of the world, Columbus Ohia USA to fulfill a dream. Ever since I had started competing over 10 years ago, my main goal was to be part of the Arnold Classic. Although I am not in the circuit at the moment, I was invited as a Guest sports model for the Jenny Hendershott Fashion Show. I was given the opportunity to showcase my Very own label I design and manufacture BH sports, at this amazing event.
There were over 200 athletes at this show, from Olympic weight lifters to martial arts, gymnastics and much more. But the highlight for me was the figure and fitness competitions. I viewed the professionals competing in the flesh and what a sight to see. I was so excited as I got to see my idol Monica Brant strut her stuff. They were taught, trim, ultra fit and robust. I caught up with some of the most amazing stars of the fitness industry, such as our very own Aussie Girl Debbie Czempinnski. American girls: Kelly Ryan, Jenny Hendershott, Laura Mac and Americas top body building men: Kevin Levrone, Flex Wheeler, Ronnie Coleman and that's just to name a few.
It was three big days of beautiful bodies; supplement tasting, networking, free show bags and thousands of people. You can also play spot the Hollywood star, I was lucky enough to see the man himself Arnold Schwarzenegger, accompanied by a troop of body guards, and brushed shoulders with Wesley Snipes.
I had an amazing time and met some wonderful people that looked after me. I look forward to meeting up with every one again at the next big event.
